Most important is a gain loss report. Some of the less expensive brokers tell you to set up a spread sheet and track your own trades, which I cannot do.
I want to just get a report if possible to submit for taxes

Please, somebody enlighten me. I’m learning about options, and as soon as gold goes on another solid upswing, I may put out a call on it with a duration of one month or less.

Any advice, whether on options or the spot price of gold, oil futures etc. is much appreciated!

I am trying to learn more about option trading. I know how to use calls and puts and have made money doing this. But I now want to get involved in straddles, spreads and selling options. So if I am using a straddle how do I unwind from the negative side of the straddle when the stock is moving away from that side? How do I use a spread and how do I sell a seccessful option?
