I just had my 1995 Mercury cougar fixed it had a bad motor mount as someone had previously suggested in one of my questions. But the person fixing it said most of the noise and trouble felt was something caused by the tourge convertor shuttering put something called shutter stop in transmission stopped noise but I was wondering what it is and do I have to look towards trading car off is transmission about to go out etc
